Our Goal

Get the app
The whole library on your phone — download a class before a flight, cast it to the TV in a hotel room, and pick up where you left off when you are back home.

Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
Support
If you signed up on TheYogaCollective.com and wish to cancel your auto-recurring subscription, follow the steps below.
To read about our refund policy, see Billing & Refund Requests.
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing cycle to ensure that your auto-renewal does not begin.
If you purchased an auto-renewal subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you will need to cancel your subscription on your device and through the respective company. You cannot cancel an Apple or Google subscription on our website or directly in the App.
For directions, open the active subscriptions on your mobile device and cancel from there. These articles provide step-by-step instructions:
We do not process App Store billing or accounts, so all billing or cancellation requests must be handled through the corresponding platform.
To request a refund, please follow the steps below:
Please note: If you open a dispute with your credit card company, we will not be able to refund you because your account will be frozen. We will then have to dispute the claim based on the original terms of your contract to protect our business against frivolous claims and dispute fees. Any dispute will nullify our updated grace period.
All of our memberships auto-renew and must be cancelled by each member at least 24 hours before each billing cycle to avoid recurring charges, similar to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple, and Google subscriptions.
We offer a five-day grace period. You can email [email protected] to request a refund. If you are within the grace period, we will be happy to issue it. Include your first and last name and the amount of the charge.
Do not contact your credit card company if you want a refund. Otherwise, your account will be frozen and we will have to dispute the claim to protect our business against frivolous claims and dispute fees.
By signing up and agreeing to The Yoga Collective’s Terms & Conditions, you agree that it is your responsibility to cancel your auto-renewal subscription on time if you do not want future charges. This is disclosed before sign-up and on vouchers: the subscription auto-renews at the end of the initial subscription and must be cancelled before it ends to disable auto-renewal.
To cancel, open the Subscription tab under Edit Account, click “Cancel,” and confirm. For more detail, see How To Cancel Your Subscription.
There are several ways to stream videos on your TV:
Some Smart TV browsers may not be compatible with every website and may have trouble selecting certain fields, such as the Login button or username field. Smart TVs are configured differently, so we recommend one of the other methods above when this happens.
Are you having trouble registering, logging in, or using a coupon?
If your coupon code is not working, there is a good chance you are using the wrong sign-up page. Make sure you are using the unique link to the sign-up page provided with your code, often found in the Redemption Instructions of your Voucher.
This will take you to the direct sign-up page where you can use your code. The page can only be accessed using the unique link provided in your voucher.
Please also double-check your code. Our codes are not case-sensitive.
All subscriptions require a credit card upon sign-up and will auto-renew unless cancelled. If you want to cancel, you must do so at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid the next billing-cycle charge. For more information, read How To Cancel Your Subscription.
If you are still having issues, contact customer service at [email protected]. Someone from our team will respond within 24–48 hours.
If you purchased your membership from a third party or received a coupon code from a third party, follow that party’s redemption instructions or read our Registration Help article.
You can also contact customer service at [email protected] for further support.
If you are using our App, simply tap on the cast icon in the corner of your video player. Make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
First, connect the mobile device with the cast device. Once you are connected, press play on the video on the mobile screen to start casting on the TV. You will need to press the cast icon in the upper-right corner of your video screen.
To Chromecast on your laptop or from our website, you will need to use the “Cast or Mirror” feature and mirror the entire screen to your TV. The video player itself does not have a cast feature like YouTube videos do, so you will not be able to cast from the actual video player.
Your computer screen or browser should appear on the device or TV. You can now navigate our site, or any other site, using your computer and it will be mirrored to your TV.
All of our videos are hosted and streamed from Vimeo. If you are having an issue, we suggest the following fixes:

Please note that internet speeds vary by time, place, connection, and provider. You may occasionally encounter a period when your provider is simply slow.
We do not have a native Roku App. Roku is a specific technology, and developing an App just for Roku would be an entirely new build that is not feasible for our company at this time.
To see other ways to watch on your TV, read How To Watch Videos on TV.
The only way to watch using Roku is through an App called iWebTV. This mobile App allows you to stream any video detected in your internet browser.
See below for detailed descriptions of our different styles of yoga and meditation.
The Sanskrit word Vinyasa (pronounced “vin-yah-sah”) means “to place in a special way.” In Vinyasa Flow, this idea translates as linking breath to movement. This class style has roots in the Ashtanga tradition and is uniquely sequenced depending on each instructor’s style and creativity. As the name suggests, get ready to flow from posture to posture.
Power is an active and athletic style of yoga that focuses on building strength by holding postures for long intervals. Like Vinyasa Flow, it evolved from the more rigid Ashtanga tradition and allows each instructor to bring their own unique sequencing and style.
Hatha yoga is a general term for a variety of yoga styles that focus on physical postures. When a class is described as Hatha, it generally means there will not be as much flow or cardio. It can still be challenging and strengthening by bringing you deeply into postures and holding you there.
Yin is a quiet, meditative yoga practice, also called Taoist yoga. Yin focuses on lengthening connective tissues and is meant to complement yang yoga. Yin poses are passive: relax the muscles and let gravity do the work. They are held for a long time, so you will practice patience here too.
Restorative yoga is a relaxing way to soothe frayed nerves. Restorative classes use bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop students in passive poses so the body can experience the benefits without exertion. A good restorative class is more rejuvenating than a nap.
You may spend as long as 20 minutes in each of four or five simple poses, often modifications of standard asanas. Strategically placed props help you sink into deep relaxation. It is better not to fall asleep, though.
The practice of Kundalini yoga features constantly dynamic and invigorating poses. Its fluidity is intended to release Kundalini, or serpent, energy in your body. Think of it as an energy supply coiled like a sleeping snake at the base of the spine. The practice aims to awaken that energy and move it upward through the body.
Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize a benefit or as an end in itself.
The term covers a broad variety of practices designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force, and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. Some forms aim for sustained single-pointed concentration that supports a durable sense of well-being during everyday life.
Ashtanga is based on ancient yoga teachings and was popularized in the West by Pattabhi Jois in the 1970s. It is a rigorous style that follows a specific sequence of postures and, like Vinyasa, links every movement to a breath. The difference is that Ashtanga performs the same poses in the same order. It is a hot, sweaty, physically demanding practice.
Six established and strenuous pose sequences are practiced sequentially as progress is made. Ashtangis move rapidly from one pose to the next with every inhale and exhale. Each series of poses linked by the breath is called a Vinyasa.
Level 1 is for beginner yogis starting their journey. These classes are slower paced and focus on alignment and how to properly get in and out of each pose or posture.
Level 1/2 classes are great for Level 1 yogis looking to transition into Level 2, or for more advanced yogis looking for a basic, well-rounded class. They include Level 1 poses and introduce Level 2 poses.
Level 2 classes are perfect for the intermediate yogi. They are well-rounded classes that will get you working hard. They include intermediate and may introduce some advanced postures.
Level 2/3 classes may be faster paced and aimed toward a more challenging and rigorous workout. They include intermediate and may include advanced postures.
Level 3 classes teach advanced postures, including deep twists, inversions, and arm balances.

Issue: If the audio is not syncing with the video, this is most likely the result of dropped frames.
Why: Dropped frames can occur if your machine or device cannot keep up with the video data being transferred. If your system cannot process higher-quality video, it may skip frames, which can cause the audio to become out of sync. This tends to happen most often when multiple programs are running while you view the video.
Try this fix: Close unused applications or browser tabs, and update your browser and graphics card.
